Registration is now open for the ASPIRE Physician Leadership Online Course, a self-paced online course organised by the ASPIRE programme under the Young Doctors’ Movement of the World Organization of Family Doctors.

The course aims to promote the knowledge and practice of young doctors and medical students in physician leadership for primary care transformation in today’s digital age.

The course will include monthly live webinars, pre-recorded videos and discussion forums. Participants will be encouraged to share their thoughts, experiences and real practice examples.

Young doctors and medical students across the world are welcome to join this opportunity to learn directly from global physician leaders, including WONCA World Presidents, President-Elects, Past Presidents and Executive Members; Regional Presidents and leaders; executives of WONCA member organisations; and other leaders in family medicine, community medicine and primary care.

Registration is free of charge. All participants must complete the registration form fully and correctly.

Platforms

The course will take place through the WONCA Community Portal for course information and asynchronous activities, and Zoom for live webinars.

Places available

The course is limited to 100 participants. Places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

To support equity, if more than 20 participants register from one country or territory, the next earliest participants from other countries or territories will be considered. Only complete registration forms will be accepted. Accepted participants will be informed by email after the registration period closes.

Certificate and duration

An electronic certificate of completion will be given to all participants who complete the course requirements.

The average duration of the course is eight months, with two months for each module. Participants may take more time to complete the course, if needed.

Disclosure

The course does not receive any financial sponsorship or grant support. It is offered as a voluntary and professional contribution to the ASPIRE Programme and WONCA YDM.
