Cheryl Chan

Dr. Cheryl Chan

Dr. Chan is a family medicine specialist from Hong Kong. She is a passionate advocate for family medicine and a dedicated medical educator. After obtaining her MBBS degree from the University of Hong Kong in 2014, she embarked on specialist training in family medicine. In 2021, she was awarded Fellowships from the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and the Hong Kong College of Family Physician (HKCFP). In the same year, she completed a Master's degree in Practical Dermatology from Cardiff University.

Dr. Chan currently serves as an Honorary Clinical Assistant Professor at the Jockey Club School of Public Health and Primary Care in CUHK. Currently, Dr Chan serve as the representative for the Young Doctors’ Movements (YDMs) and co-chairs the Special Interest Group on Dermatology in WONCA. Dr Chan is a member of the UNODC Young Doctor Network.

Dr Chan has led various WONCA initiatives including the CyberXFM webinar, YDM/WP-SIG collaborative webinars, Prof Donald Li YDM Global Scholarship, YDM Global Mentorship Project, etc.
