Applications Open for the Montegut Global Scholars Program 2026
WONCA is committed to promoting equity in global health by helping family doctors from low and middle income countries access vital professional development opportunities, including our regional, rural and world conferences.
We are pleased to announce that applications are now open for the Montegut Global Scholars Program (MGSP) 2026.
One family doctor from each of WONCA’s seven regions will receive a USD 3,500 bursary to attend a WONCA Regional or Rural Conference in 2026.
The MGSP supports early or mid-career family doctors or GPs who are active in education, research or quality improvement, and who may face financial barriers to attending WONCA events.
This long-running programme is generously supported by the American Board of Family Medicine Foundation (ABFM-F), and we thank them for their continued commitment to strengthening family medicine worldwide.
