Lisbon to be the epicenter of the 25th WONCA World Conference

The Portuguese Association of General and Family Medicine (APMGF) is actively engaged in promoting the upcoming 25th WONCA World Conference, scheduled to take place in Lisbon in 2025.

This event will be organized in collaboration with WONCA Europe Region, further emphasizing the collective effort and dedication of the Portuguese medical community in contributing to the global healthcare landscape.

Portugal stands out as the third most-represented country at the 28th WONCA European Conference in Brussels, Belgium, with 197 participants, trailing closely behind Belgium and the Netherlands. The Portuguese delegation has made a remarkable impact on the conference, with 75 posters by Portuguese authors being accepted for presentation, along with 86 oral communications delivered in diverse formats as defined by the organizing committee.
