WONCA World Conference 2023: A Grateful Farewell to Sydney

We are delighted to share our gratitude and appreciation for the remarkable achievement of the WONCA World Conference 2023, which took place in Sydney, Australia. This significant event brought together healthcare professionals and leaders from around the world to explore innovative strategies for advancing global healthcare.

The conference, hosted at the International Convention Centre Sydney from October 26th to 29th, served as an exceptional platform for the exchange of knowledge, networking, and collaborative efforts, all centered around the theme "Recovery, reconnection, and revival - a celebration of Primary Care."

During this remarkable gathering, a total of 4,434 delegates filled the halls of Sydney's International Convention Centre, actively engaging in enlightening discussions led by some of the world's leading experts in their respective fields.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) for their exceptional role as hosts. President Nicole Higgins, the Honorary Organizing Committee (HOC) Chair, and WONCA Member at Large, Prof. Karen Price, and the entire RACGP team demonstrated unwavering dedication and expertise, which played a vital part in the success of the conference.
