The WONCA Working Party on Quality and Safety warmly invites you to join the third webinar in our series exploring the role of Human Factors Science in improving primary health care.

Speaker: Dr Rosie Benneyworth

We are honoured to welcome Dr Rosie Benneyworth, Chief Executive of the Health Services Safety Investigations Body (HSSIB) – the official independent body in England responsible for leading healthcare safety investigations. HSSIB investigates serious patient safety risks using a systems-based approach focused on learning, not blame. Their work contributes to global efforts to improve patient safety by identifying risks and strengthening care delivery.

Dr Benneyworth will present on:

Human Factors: “Moving patient safety upstream.”

This session will explore how Human Factors principles can be applied to primary care settings to prevent harm and enhance patient outcomes.

This event supports implementation of the WHO Global Patient Safety Action Plan 2021–2030, particularly strategy 2.4, which calls for greater use of Human Factors in primary health care to build safer, more resilient systems.
