University of Toronto survey on advocacy and policy training

By Praseedha Janakiram and Katherine Rouleau,
on behalf of the Advocacy and Policy for Primary Care and Family Medicine Leadership Team,
Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Toronto, Canada.

Please note that this is one of two surveys related to policy and advocacy for primary care and family medicine, currently circulating. You may soon be invited to fill out a different but equally important survey, led by the WONCA Special Interest Group in Policy and Advocacy to develop a collection of global resources to support policy and advocacy for family medicine. We strongly urge you to respond to both surveys if invited to do so.

The Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Toronto, together with a group of global experts, is creating a continuing professional development (CPD) program to enable family physicians and primary care experts to more effectively advocate and shape policy for high-quality primary care and family medicine.

We are currently in the development phase for this program and are inviting all primary care and family medicine colleagues with experience and expertise in this area to complete a needs assessment survey that will inform the CPD program.

Take the survey

The present CPD needs assessment survey should take approximately 15 minutes to complete and will contribute to global efforts to improve access to high-quality primary care and family medicine for all.

Survey deadline: 5th February
