WONCA Rural conference live online this weekend
The postponed 17th WONCA World Rural Conference which was due to be held in April this year in Dhaka, Bangladesh, is now happening in a virtual capacity this weekend October 16th-18th.
It is still being hosted by our Bangladesh colleagues and we are very grateful for the hard work and effort that they have put into it and to the chair of the WONCA Working Party on Rural Practice, Bruce Chater, who has worked so hard to make this happen.
You can find all the information about the conference on the updated conference website:
www.wrhc2020.net
The programme runs for two hours every day. We apologise to those who submitted their abstracts but for obvious reasons, the programme is less extensive than we had previously anticipated. (Please keep those abstracts for our next conference. We need them!)
A highlight of the first day will be our founding chair (in 1995) Rogers Strasser’s Keynote speech “Training for Rural Practice 25 Years Onward and Upward”
We already have over 100 delegates. Please join us and make this a memorable event.
