Overview

Welcome to the YDM Global Mentorship Project. We connect aspiring family doctors with experienced mentors to support professional development, reduce isolation, and prevent burnout. Together, we work to strengthen primary care and ensure every family has a family doctor.

About the Project

The Young Doctor Movements (YDMs) presents a global mentorship pilot project for young doctors from Africa, Iberoamerica, and South Asia.

Aims of the Project

  • Support the development of young doctors and strengthen primary care.
  • Encourage young doctors to pursue a career in family medicine and join WONCA.
  • Provide a forum to share best practices by publishing the mentor-mentee experience.
